Often called as “the World most Persecuted minority“ Rohingyas are an Ethnic group from the Rakhine State in Myanmar. The Rakhine area is considered to be the least developed region, with more than 78% of the households living below the poverty line !!!
The World Most Persecuted Minority You make ask, Who are The Rohingya’s? Reported by the UN about 1.1 Million Rohingya’s are set to reside in the Rakhine State of Myanmar. Their origins have been traced back to the 15th Century. Ever since the independence in 1948, the Government of Burma which was later renamed as Myanmar in 1989 denied any recognition to the People of Rohingya, in fact, they went as far as naming the group “Illegal Bengali” !!!

In 1982 Citizenship Law passed in Burma now known as Myanmar The World Most Persecuted Minority Rohingya were declared “Non-Nationals”. They also revoked and stopped issuing any citizenship to people of Rohingya, they also did not allow for them to make any type of identification which made them effectively “Stateless”.
Does it make you wonder, Why are they Fleeing from Burma ??? Well since the 1970’s a number of crackdowns have occurred towards the people of Rohingya. Which has forced hundreds of thousands of them to flee to neighboring countries? Why would that many want to leave their comfort at home, you make ask ??? It’s because, during such Crackdowns, the Refugees have often reported Rape of women and child. Torture of male adults, burning alive family members and of course mass murdering by Myanmar Security Forces / Monks …
According to the UN Human Rights Council, more than 1.68 Million Rohingya Refugees a Refugees have fled from Myanmar/Burma and have unfortunately earned the title of “ Boat People “
Details About Current Situation In Rohingya And Bangladesh
Currently, Bangladesh holds the largest amount of Rohingya Refugees in the world. Unfortunately, Bangladesh government started to deny entry into Bangladesh and Rohingya Refugees started to look towards Thailand. Thailand provided food/water/Medicine but did not allow them entry into the country or Same happened when Rohingya Refugee sought refuge in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Pakistan agreed to take around 150,000 Rohingya Refugees which are primarily staying in the city of Karachi. Turkey Government provided Bangladesh with 100 Million Dollars in Trust Funds to provide relief/support to People of Rohingya.
We as Human Beings are also responsible to help, cannot wait on other countries to help. There is Power in Unity and together we can truly help the people of Rohingya. If only we give up $1 a day and gather 10,000 to 100,000 people to do the same we can easily help. 1 MILLION Rohingya Refugee on our own Every day from providing Housing. ( Shelter), Food/Water, Medical Assistance and Education to empower the Next Generation.
Think about it, if it cost $20 a Month to help a Rohingya Refugee and we have 10,000 people giving $1 dollar a day (times 365 days) = $3,650,000 ( 3 MILLION SIX Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ) enough to sponsor 182,000 Rohingya Refugee now Imagine 100,000 people giving $1 a Day = $36,500,000 (THIRTY SIX MILLION and Five Hundred Thousand Dollars) enough to Help 1.825 MILLION ROHINGYA REFUGEES (compared with UN Report of 1.6 MILLION Refugee we would have funds on a surplus) … The Power of Working together !!! Let’s make it happen and ensure in our time that no one should have to face such inhumane barbaric treatment !!!
